How to Change Book Analysis Titles during Online Enrollment (HS English)

How to Change Book Analysis Titles during Online Enrollment (HS English)

If you are enrolling online, you can select titles for the book analysis assignments by looking at the "Courses and Credits" (left-hand side) and viewing the HS English course:

As you can see above, Literature and Composition has book analysis assignments for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarters, and no specific titles have been chosen by default. To see what titles are available for each book analysis assignment, you can click the "See Available Options." You can also see all the books, including the book analysis ones, on our website (https://www.setonhome.org/high-school/english/literature-composition/). If no specific title has been chosen, we will simply send the recommended titles.

Students must write their book analysis essays on the approved titles. They cannot use substitute books.

After clicking "See Available Options," you can select which book we send to you (seen below). To select the title, click the title of the book and then "Select Book."

Whichever book you chose will show up on the list:

Clicking "Apply $5.00 credit" means you are claiming you already have an unabridged version of the title and do not want us to send you a copy. While using your own copies usually works fine in the lower HS English courses, I highly suggest parents acquire the versions we give for courses like British Literature and Literary Interpretation since they have been carefully selected to have helpful notes/aides and are free from strange scholarly interpretations.
