How to organize Pride and Prejudice Essay Topic #1?
I would dedicate the 1st body paragraph (or 1st set of body paragraphs) on establishing Elizabeth's pride in her powers of judgment as the primary cause of her prejudice.
For the 2nd body paragraph (or 2nd set of body paragraphs), I would then show when her prideful judgment of others was inaccurate and thus showing how it "undermines her ability to make good judgments." In addition, it would be appropriate to point out any harm or consequences that resulted from her judgments.
Lastly, for the 3rd body paragraph (or 3rd set of body paragraphs), I would focus on showing how Elizabeth recognizes her pride and inaccurate judgments, becomes more humble, and overcomes her prejudice (not only of Darcy but others as well).
As you can see, it sufficiently covers each of the essay topic's instructions. Obviously, the organization above assumes the student focuses on pride in her powers of judgment as the cause of her prejudice.
