Seton Online: How to view student quiz answers

Seton Online: How to view student quiz answers

For many Seton courses, students can prepare for tests by studying their answers for quizzes they've taken during the course. Finding quiz answers for hard copy quizzes is straight forward enough (as long as the student keeps track of their papers). But for students that opt to take their quizzes via Seton Online, finding their previous quiz submissions can be tricky.

Here is a step-by-step guide for how to find quiz submissions for quizzes taken via Seton Online.

This example uses our high school English course, Literature and Composition.

To view quiz answers online for a Seton Online course, you will need be to be logged in as the student. If you are logged in as the parent or teacher, you will need to log out and log back in as the student before you can proceed.

Once logged in as the student, go to page for the course you'd like to view by clicking the course tab at the top of the screen.

Once you are on the course page, you will have to navigate to the day of the course on which the quiz appears.

To get started, click the heading that says "Content".

Clicking "Content" will bring you to a new page. On standard a desktop/laptop browser, the new page should show a "Table on Contents" on the left side of your screen. The right side of the page shows the content you are currently viewing, which is based off of what you click in the "Table of Contents".

The picture below shows how the content on the right corresponds with what you click on in the "Table of Contents"

To find the quiz results, you will need to navigate to the week and day of the course that the quiz appears on. For this example, we will be navigating to the quizzes for Where the Red Fern Grows, a book students read in Literature and Composition.

Simply use the "Table of Contents" to find the correct page. Click on the relevant Quarter. This will open another drop down menu which shows the weeks in that Quarter. Clicking the week for that Quarter will show you each day in that week of the Quarter.

The picture below shows the Second Quarter in Week 10. The days of this week are underlined.

In the "Table of Contents" menu on the side, there is a heading that says "Weekly Quizzes". Click it. This will take you to a new page where you can see the quizzes for the week listed.

To view a particular quiz, click the heading for that quiz.

The picture below shows the weekly quizzes for Where the Red Fern Grows.

This will navigate you to a new page. To view previous quiz results, click the little arrow below the heading on the page. It is circled in the first picture below.

A drop down menu will appear that says "View Submissions." Click this. It will take you to a new page where you can view the previous attempts on the quiz (see second picture below).

Once you can see the list of quiz attempts, you can click one of them to view the answers from that attempt.
