Question: Does Seton have a list of school supplies that you
recommend?
Answer: Yes, we do! You can find our suggested school supply lists on your
MySeton page. When logged into MySeton, make sure you are on the Home
page. On the right side, under the Seton Staff Directory ad, you'll see
"Suggested School Supplies Pre-K - 12." The supplies on the
"Daily" lists are recommended, but the Supplemental/Investment supplies
are optional.
As you prepare for the new
school year, it's a good idea to stock up on notebooks, paper, and
writing supplies (pencils, pens, crayons, erasers, highlighters). 3-ring
binders and folders are a great way to keep the lesson plans and
schoolwork organized. You can use divider tabs to separate each subject.
For younger students, chalkboards or hand-held whiteboards are good
for practicing letters. It's also nice to have some reference books on
hand, such as a schoolroom copy of the Bible, Catechism, and a
reference dictionary. It can be helpful to have a place to store
each child's school books - consider using plastic milk crates, cloth
storage cubes, or large plastic bins/tupperware containers. Or, if you
want to get creative, let your students decorate large cardboard "book
boxes" where they can keep their Seton books.
